It has been just about a million years since I last posted. I hate that! But y’all…things have been busy. Like, really busy.
I’m sharing some highlights below, but the biggest thing that happened between when I last posted and now is…we bought a house! We are so excited to move in. I’m especially thrilled about using our new kitchen. Yay!
In the midst of being bonkers busy, I’ve managed to keep Instagram updated with the latest happenings and food adventures. If you don’t follow me there, you should! Here’s a little taste of recent highlights:
In March, I was in three cities in three state in three weeks for work – it was crazy! I started in San Diego, where I had In-N-Out with #noragrets:
Then I went to Boston, where I guess I didn’t take any pictures, but I know had a blast.
Finally, I went to Salt Lake City where I ordered from the toast menu (yes, a menu of fancy toast!) at Publik Coffee Roasters.
Right after I got home, I was in a wedding for our two dear friends, Audrey and Rob. It was so beautiful and such an honor to be by their sides.
After that, my parents came to visit! So fun!
The next week we closed on our house!!!!! So exciting. Much more to come on the new space and new kitchen. I can’t wait to show you guys!
After that, we made this 3-foot charcuterie board that blew our minds:
This salad was pretty insane too – roasted beets and fried goat cheese medallions are meant for each other.
To balance out all this meat and cheese and carbs and excitment, I made this tropical fruit + kale smoothie with greek yogurt and almond milk. Maybe I’ll share the recipe for it?
Then I went to NYC for work and had an INCREDIBLE bagel from Black Seed Bagels. Can you even believe this thing?
Most recently, we visited my parents in Beaufort for Memorial Day Weekend. We went to the drive-in theater, made homemade mussels and relaxed. We also picked our own strawberries at a local farm – they were incredible!
So, there you have it. A recap of what I’ve been up to and a promise to get back on the recipe-posting wagon ASAP.
